I spent 4 gloriously sunny hours Saturday afternoon weeding the driveway and clearing an old drain then a bit of sweeping up. I discovered that the front wall of reception far from being Bridgwater red brick like I expected – where the red paint was loose and flaking I discovered yellow bath bricks, my next discovery was the lovely old fashioned fired clay drain. Please see photos. I finished for the day after a little more digging out the patio in the garden and clearing a small amount of guttering on the beginning of the long gallery/veranda. I was very pleased to be able to change the padlock on the front gates for my Yale padlock which was last used on the Studio space which was rented on the Old Taunton Road trading estate (which is no more, a residential estate now). A friend pointed out that I seem to have a thing about this place!
