Wessex water closed the road this morning, they dug a hole in the pavement next to the water meter where the mains water joins the gallery, connecting to the hole dug previously on the inside of the garage where the water enters the building. They disconnected the old lead pipe then connected the mains water to Wills new blue pipe. It was a bit of a surprise as I had been told that the job was on hold due to the pandemic. All sorted now, hole filled in and pavement repaired.
I am still somewhat unwell but I am on the road to recovery – can’t wait to be able to get stuck in painting and decorating now the water supply has been re-connected we still have some lovely summer days and the countdown clock says eight months to go!
Will says his next job is to finish the ceilings both in reception and the garage also to fit the garage ramp then it will be flooring and disabled loo kit to be fitted also lights, windows and skirting to almost complete this part of the building. So looking forward to seeing it all come together.
